Deep Dive
I didnāt find this in a bookā¦not that many exist.
I didnāt get it from a podcastā¦most donāt talk about threading the needle.
I built it while trying not to go under.
When I was in the middle of a brutal turnaround, I didnāt need tips.
I needed structure. A reason to get up and try again the next day.
So I made a checklist.
Not because Iām a systems nerd (I am).
But because I needed a way to survive without crumbling under the weight of debt, payroll, and fear.
This list didnāt fix everything.
But it kept me from breaking.
And it helped me claw back control.
In fact, we went from $280K in monthly expenses down to $30K in <6 months.
It was every bit as brutal as it sounds, but the company survived.

Takeaways
Itās not āoptimized.ā But it works when youāre on the edge.
And if youāre in the middle of your own mess, I see you.
Youāre not alone.
In fact, this week alone Iāve spoken to six business owners who are either unprofitable or nearing the end of their cashā¦it happens more often than weāre made to believe.
